Shiny,  hard
Bouncing, dribbling, pushing
Trying to shoot in the hoop...defending the opposition
Passing, catching, scoring
Strong, powerful

Auckland Art

Success Criteria:
  • Choose 2 primary colours to dye onto an A3 paper, blending the dye will create a secondary colour.
  • Plan a pattern on your art work thinking about different types of lines.
  • Optional - Add shapes to create interest.

What I like about my art is that in the end I made it look 3D, I really liked that bit.

I would like to improve making the diamond look like a real diamond because it did not look like a real diamond and I would improve the thickness around the outlines. I used the planning muscle to get to this point and I am proud of my artwork because I got it finished in the time frame and I think I did very good shapes.

Rebekah
My Creature is a Guinea Pig
Some things I needed to consider about my creature:
Making sure that the guinea pig can not get out.
Making sure that the guinea pig has entertainment.
My enclosure has these special features for my pet:
Grooming station so it can be brushed and comforting bed to relax play area fitted for guinea pig I put in fake grass.
What I am pleased about:
that I actually got something done at the end and that I planned it so well that I got all that I wanted on my piece.
What I have found tricky:
finding the stuff that I needed and placing it on the model.
What I would like to improve:
To make the walls more stable and finding some stuff for it.

Exaggeration poem writing
Exaggeration means claiming something is greater than it really is. For example, if you said “my cat is as big as a house” or “I can run faster than the speed of light,” you would be exaggerating.

To write your own exaggeration poem, you only need to do three things:
  1. Pick something to write about.
  2. Pick a feature or characteristic of the thing that you are writing about.
  3. Exaggerate that characteristic in every way you can think of, making a list as you go.
  4. Take your list of ideas and turn them into a poem.

Here are some more tips to help you get started:
  • When you write your exaggeration poem, it doesn’t have to rhyme, unless you want it to.
  • If you can’t think of a funny ending for your poem, try ending it with the same lines you used at the beginning of the poem.

Good luck writing your own exaggeration poems!

I bought a funny bunny
She can jump as far as a kangaroo
Looking like a bunny on a spring
Shes new, she's blue.

The eats hay and weighs 1.24 tonne
Neighs like a horse
Get out of my way funny bunny
She jumps over China’s wall, of course!

Funny bunny keeps like a snoring bear and snores louder than a jet pack She always coughs in her sleep
It is always really boring watching her snack

Funny bunny and I love games and
Exploring and fighting each other
It is really fun to play fight
Until we see our mother!

I hope you enjoyed the story see you later!!! (funny bunny)

camp omatua

My favorite thing at camp was  bush bashing because we had to  jump over some

broken tree branches and wood.

When Caitlin and I were tubing we tipped over and landed on top of each other ha! ha! Ha!.  Then when we went down the river in the  kayaks,  it was so fun I would like to do it again.  I'm not scared anymore because it was epic!

Thank you
